Noach Lundgren, a native resident of New York State's beautifully Mid-Hudson Valley region, embraces the inherent eccentricity of being human. Primarily specializing in music composition, Lundgren enjoys exploring many musical endeavors, the visual arts, and their multidisciplinary intersections. With experience in music performance, production, and more - as well as a childhood steeped in exposure to and engagement with woodworking, metalsmithing, and other fine arts - he finds himself comfortable in a diversity of creative pursuits. His work - created for concert hall, gallery, drama, and more - often questions boundaries of genre, sophistication, and medium. Subjects often include religious themes, such as the links between Judaism and Christianity, or mental health issues, stemming from his own deep personal faith and experiences with anxiety and depression. Lundgren holds a Master's in Composition from the Hartt School (University of Hartford), earned his Bachelor's in Music and Jewish Studies from Bard College, and is pursuing a Master's in Rabbinic Studies through Messianic Jewish Theological Institute. He currently lives with his wife and three daughters in the historic city of Kingston and teaches music in Poughkeepsie public schools.
